Washington Commanders Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio has spoken out to blast the double standards when comparing the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and the Black Lives Matter-led rioting in 2020.
Del Rio slammed the “two standards” when comparing the two and called for “a discussion.”
Del Rio says in the video below:
“What did I ask? A simple question.
“Why are we not looking into those things if we’re gonna talk about it, why are we not looking into those things?
“Because it’s kinda hard for me to say, I can realistically look at it and I see the images on TV.
“People’s livelihoods are being destroyed, businesses are being burned down… no problem
“And then we have a dust-up at the capital, nothing burned down, and we’re not gonna talk about it, we’re gonna make that a major deal.
“It’s two standards,” he said.
“Let’s have a discussion.”

Jonathan Allen, one of the Commanders’ top players, said Del Rio’s comments have not ruffled any feathers in the locker room.
“At the end of the day you can a difference of opinion and still respect one another,” Allen said.
I just want to let all of you angry at Del Rio know that the riots in 2020 resulted in the most expensive property damage in insurance history.
Minority businesses and neighborhoods were the most effected by them.
