A shocking video has emerged that shows the moment a revenge-seeking son shoots his father’s alleged killer in the middle of a courtroom.
27-year-old Cristiano Alves Terto was seen unloading six shots at Francisco Cleidivaldo Mariano De Moura, 38, during court proceedings.
The incident occurred during a jury session for Terto’s father’s murder trial in São José do Belmonte, Brazil, according to CNN Brasil.
Footage from inside the courtroom depicts Terto bolting toward the suspect with a .38-caliber revolver pointed directly at De Moura.
De Moura was sitting only steps away from a juror and an attorney at the front of the court.
Terto fired at least twice while charging at De Moura.
He continued by unloading all of his bullets before proceeding to pistol whip De Moura with the weapon, the dramatic footage shows.
Moments later, De Moura collapses on the floor behind the magistrates’ bench.
However, Terto then rushes around it and furiously strikes him twice in the head with the gun, the video shows.

Terto attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended, according to a report by Fox News.
Police subsequently charged Terto with attempted murder.
De Moura, despite being struck by six bullets, survived the incident.
He was eventually discharged after treatment at a facility in the city of Serra Talhada, The Sun reported.
De Moura was apprehended in Salgueiro, northern Brazil after being wanted for the murder of Terto’s father, Francisco Alves.
He allegedly shot him on October 5, 2012, according to The Sun.
De Moura reportedly admitted to shooting Alves in self-defense, after he caught him searching for a stray donkey on his farm in Lagoa Alexandre.
He allegedly called him a “filthy little thief” before advancing on him with a stick.
Alves allegedly grabbed a wooden stick and walked toward De Moura, the outlet reported, and as he approached, De Moura took out his gun and fired a warning shot.
De Moura claims Alves failed to heed two warning shots before he eventually fired at him.
He died 18 days later in the hospital after being shot in the stomach, the report stated.
Terto was remanded into custody following his courtroom attack.
De Moura, meanwhile, has been released pending a new date for his trial, according to a local Brazilian outlet.
