Whoopi Goldberg May Get Fired from ‘The View’ for Repeating Holocaust Slur That Got Her Suspended

Whoopi Goldberg risked her job on ABC’s “The View” in a new interview where she doubled down and repeated the Holocaust slur that previously got her suspended from the controversial daytime show.

Goldberg said earlier the Holocaust was not “racial” but a form of “white-on-white” crime.

During a new interview promoting her new movie, Goldberg told the Sunday Times of London:

“It wasn’t originally about race. Remember who they were killing first.

“They were not killing racial; they were killing physical.

“They were killing people they considered to be mentally defective.

“And then they made this decision.”

Interviewer Janice Turner wasn’t buying it and told Goldberg that the Nazis considered Jews a race which prompted Goldberg to say it was wrong to use their definition.

“The oppressor is telling you what you are,” Goldberg said.

“Why are you believing them? They’re Nazis. Why believe what they’re saying?

“It doesn’t change the fact that you could not tell a Jew on a street.

“You could find me. You couldn’t find them.

“That was the point I was making.

“But you would have thought that I’d taken a big old stinky dump on the table, butt naked.”

ABC News president Kim Godwin said when the network suspended Goldberg earlier:

“Effective immediately, I am suspending Whoopi Goldberg for two weeks for her wrong and hurtful comments.

“While Whoopi has apologized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments.

“The entire ABC News organization stands in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, friends, family, and communities.”

Goldberg later apologized:

“On today’s show, I said the Holocaust ‘is not about race, but about man’s inhumanity to man.’ I should have said it is about both.

“As Jonathan Greenblatt from the Anti-Defamation League shared, ‘The Holocaust was about the Nazi’s systematic annihilation of the Jewish people — who they deemed to be an inferior race.’ I stand corrected.

“The Jewish people around the world have always had my support and that will never waiver.

“I’m sorry for the hurt I have caused.”
