The co-hosts of “The View” erupted in outrage after Whoopi Goldberg advised viewers to focus on their families and not “panic” about President Donald Trump’s second term.
During Monday’s broadcast of the controversial ABC News propaganda show, Goldberg said the American people should be focusing on their own lives over Christmas.
Goldberg claimed that Trump wants the American people “in a panic.”
However, she argued that leftists would be better off waiting until January 21 to see what Trump actually does, instead of fretting now about what they think he will do.
“All we have to do from now until January 21 is be with our families, be with our kids, do our jobs, make sure our checks don’t bounce, make sure that we are taking care of ourselves and our families,” Goldberg said.
“Whatever he’s gonna do, he’s gonna do, but do take our word for it, things seem to move slowly because yeah, they didn’t come get Hillary [Clinton], but he has other people who are ready to go.
“But I don’t think that they can just go out and do what they want to do,” Goldberg said.
However, Goldberg’s advice triggered angry pushback from panelist Ana Navarro.
Navarro argued that illegal immigrants and women in the Department of Defense (DOD) do not have the luxury of not worrying about the next administration.
“Ana, you tell people to stay fraught and like this,” Goldberg responded while waving her arms in the air.
“No, I’m telling people to prepare, Whoopi,” Navarro shot back.
“I’m telling people to prepare.
“That means that they can’t be relaxing and enjoying Christmas when winter is coming.”
Goldberg noted that Trump’s opponents do not even know what they are panicking over and should fight once it is necessary.
“We have to figure out what we’re panicking for,” Goldberg said.
“We don’t know what we’re panicking for.
“They’re throwing 50,000 things at you to make you do this.
“I’m saying, don’t buy into that.
“Do what you have to do, take care of your family and when we know what is happening, when we know what we’re fighting, then we’ll get out and fight.”
WATCH:
Goldberg is a staunch critic of Trump.
For the last several seasons, Goldberg has continuously referred to the president-elect as “you know who” to avoid saying his name on air.
Before the election, the longtime co-host alleged, without evidence, that Trump intended to break up racial marriages.
She claimed Trump would deport non-white spouses, and place their white partners in relationships with other white citizens.
“[Trump’s] not going to say, ‘oh, well, you know, you’re with a white guy I’m gonna keep you from being deported,’” Goldberg said during an Oct. 28 segment.
“No, he’s going to deport you and put the white guy with somebody else.
“The man is out there!”
In January, Goldberg also warned viewers that Trump wants to “round up” journalists and gay people to make them mysteriously “disappear.”
“‘I’m going to take all the journalists, I’m going to take all the gay folks, and I’ll move you all around and disappear you,’” Goldberg said while describing Trump’s alleged views.
“If that’s the country you want, you know who to vote for.”
Again, she provided no evidence.
Immediately following the second assassination attempt against the now-president-elect in September, Goldberg argued that Trump is a threat to the nation and uses dangerous, violent rhetoric.
Goldberg and her fellow co-hosts also recently attempted to justify President Joe Biden’s pardoning of his son Hunter.
They argued that Trump is planning to use “retribution and vindictiveness” against his political opponents.
