Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) imploded with rage after tech entrepreneur Elon Musk said that “she’s just not that smart.”
Musk made the comment in a post on his social media platform Twitter/X that quickly went viral.
Ocasio Cortez lashed out at Musk after he criticized her over her response to the migrant crisis in her New York City district.
Musk was responding to a missive against AOC.
In a post on X, the congresswoman mocked Republicans for the federal government speeding toward a budget shutdown.

AOC was blasted over her efforts to downplay the migrant crisis, despite her vocal outbursts about the border during the Trump administration.
A viral post on X mocked AOC’s gaslighting efforts and included a video of the lawmakers trying to compare legal immigrants arriving in Ellis Island 100 years ago to Democrat President Joe Biden’s border crisis today.

Musk dropped the hammer on AOC by responding to the viral post.

AOC issued an angry response that didn’t even mention the migrant crisis.
Instead, she touted her accomplishments in order to prove that she is actually smart.
“I wasn’t born rich and became the youngest woman in American history to be elected to Congress,” she responded.
“Then I investigated Cohen, authored the largest FEMA funeral assistance program in history, and led creation of a US Climate Corps to create tens of thousands of new jobs.
Stay mad,” she added an emoji of a woman flipping her hair.

Other New York City officials did not share Ocasio-Cortez’s opinion that the number of migrants was “nothing,” however.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams has demanded that the federal government take responsibility.
In a speech to New Yorkers, Adams warned that the cost of caring for the migrants would “destroy” the city.
Meanwhile, Musk has been criticizing the media for ignoring the massive surge of illegal aliens crossing the border.
He said on Monday that he plans to visit the border to assess the crisis himself.
