AOC Throws Tantrum, Demands Clarence Thomas Resign or Face ‘Impeachment’

Celebrity Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has thrown a temper tantrum and demanded that Justice Clarence Thomas resign or face “impeachment.”

AOC threatened the Supreme Court justice with doomed impeachment proceedings after it emerged that his wife, Ginni Thomas, supported calls to overturn the 2020 election results.

“Clarence Thomas should resign,” AOC blasted.

“If not, his failure to disclose income from right-wing organizations, recuse himself from matters involving his wife, and his vote to block the Jan 6th commission from key information must be investigated and could serve as grounds for impeachment.”

Chief Justice John Roberts announced that Thomas was back on the bench yesterday after he’d fallen ill.

Thomas, 73, was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital on March 18 over “flu-like symptoms.”

AOC is not the only Democrat calling for Thomas to resign or get impeached.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said:

“You have the wife of a sitting Supreme Court justice advocating for an insurrection, advocating for overturning a legal election to the sitting president’s chief of staff and she also knows this election, these cases, are going to come before her husband.

“This is a textbook case for removing him, recusing him from these decisions.”

Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar also said:

“Clarence Thomas needs to be impeached.”

Stephen L. Miller reminded Omar of what she was truly saying:

“If we start removing government officials because of the ethically questionable behavior of their spouses, oh brother have I got some news you’re not going to like.”

And another Twitter user joked: “Get your wife in line, seethed the feminists.”

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley mocked the calls for impeachment as “ludicrous” and “entirely disconnected from any constitutional or logical foundation.”
