Biden ‘Completely Unaware’ About Green Agenda Policy ‘He’ Signed: ‘I Didn’t Do That’

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has expressed deep concerns after it emerged that President Joe Biden is completely unaware of a green agenda executive order that he supposedly signed.

Johnson blasted Biden’s decision to use executive authority to pause liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports to Europe.

The speaker argues that the move undermined U.S. allies and inadvertently bolsters Russia’s war efforts.

In an interview with The Free Press’s Bari Weiss, Johnson detailed his Oval Office meeting with Biden.

Johnson recounted what he described as a concerning lack of awareness from Biden about a critical executive order “he” had signed.

The speaker explained the challenges he faced in securing a meeting with Biden amid significant national security concerns.

“I started requesting a meeting with the president… but they wouldn’t let me meet with him,” Johnson said.

“His staff kept giving excuses…

“This went on for like, eight or nine weeks.”

After publicly criticizing the lack of communication, Johnson was finally invited to the White House in January 2024.

However, he described the meeting as “an ambush.”

“I show up, and I realize it’s actually an ambush,” Johnson said.

“It’s not just me and the President; it’s Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, Hakeem [Jeffries], the CIA director, everybody.

“They were going to hotbox the speaker on Ukraine funding.”

The meeting took an unexpected turn when Biden cleared the room, leaving Johnson and himself alone in the Oval Office.

Describing the moment as an unexpected assertion of authority, Johnson said:

“The president reaches over… and he says, ‘The Speaker and I just need a couple of minutes together. Would you all just leave us alone?’”

During their private conversation, Johnson directly questioned Biden about the pause on LNG exports to Europe.

“I said, Mr. President… why did you pause LNG exports to Europe?” Jonshon recalled.

“Liquefied natural gas is in great demand by our allies.

“Why would you do that?” he asked Biden.

“You understand… you’re fueling Vladimir Putin’s war machine because they’ve got to get their gas from him.”

Johnson described Biden’s initial reaction as one of surprise,” saying:

“He looks at me, stunned… and he said, ‘I didn’t do that.’”

Despite Johnson pointing out the executive order, Biden appeared unaware of the implications of his action.

“It occurred to me… he was not lying to me,” Johnson said.

“He genuinely did not know what he had signed.”

Biden eventually acknowledged the executive order, framing it as a study of the effects of LNG exports.

Johnson countered, explaining the real-world impact on Louisiana’s economy and national security.

“This is doing massive damage,” Johnson said.

“It occurred to me we’re in serious trouble.

“Who is running the country?”

Johnson’s account has raised questions about presidential oversight and decision-making.

He concluded the interview with a sobering observation:

“It’s been very, very concerning to me over the last year and a half…

“I kind of feel sorry for Joe Biden.

“He is not, obviously, has not been in charge for some time.

“And now the whole world knows it.”
