Bill Clinton Admits He Suffered ‘Outbursts of Rage’ for ‘2 Years’ over Trump’s 2016 Victory

Bill Clinton has admitted that he struggled to cope in the aftermath of his wife getting crushed by President Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

It seems that Vice President Kamala Harris’s devastating loss to Trump has triggered flashbacks for others in the political world, particularly the Clintons.

According to the New York Post, former President Bill Clinton made the confession in his new memoir.

He revealed that “he couldn’t sleep for two years” and was prone to “outbursts of rage” in the wake of his wife Hillary’s loss to Trump in 2016.

The ex-president added in the memoir that he wasn’t “wasn’t fit to be around” at the time of Hillary Clinton’s loss.

The 42nd president even apologized for having two years of “outbursts of rage.”

Just like his wife, the former president had a long list of situations and people to blame for his wife’s devastating loss to Trump some eight years ago.

His lashing out included blaming the Russians and a hostile “political press” for influencing the outcome of the election.

“I apologize to all those who endured my outbursts of rage, which lasted for years and bothered or bored people who thought it pointless to rehash things that couldn’t be changed,” Clinton wrote.

The former president described the 2016 election as the “darkest election possible in the United States.”

Clinton wrote, “Almost two years after the election, Kathleen Hall Jamieson, a highly regarded social scientist said Russia’s cyber attacks piled on top of Comey’s interventions were effective enough to persuade voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to vote for third parties or stay at home.”

He also blamed then-FBI Director James Comey for the email investigation into Hillary.

Like his wife, he claims it was a factor in Hillary being defeated by Trump.

Interestingly, Clinton also addressed his relationship with his former associate, Jeffrey Epstein.

As Slay News reported, he wrote in the memoir that he wished he’d “never met him.”

“The bottom line is, even though it allowed me to visit the work of my foundation, traveling on Epstein’s plane was not worth the years of questioning afterward,” the former president wrote.

“I wish I had never met him.

“I had always thought Epstein was odd but had no inkling of the crimes he was committing,” Clinton wrote.

Clinton also claimed that he’d never visited the deceased sex trafficker’s private island.

However, witnesses have said they saw Clinton on “Pedophile Island” with “young girls.”

“He hurt a lot of people, but I knew nothing about it, and by the time he was first arrested in 2005, I had stopped contact with him,” he claims.

“I’ve never visited his island.”
