Bill Gates Donates $50 Million to Kamala Harris, Warns He’s ‘Concerned’ About Trump: ‘This Election Is Different’

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has donated a whopping $50 million to Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris’s campaign.

Gates secretly funneled the huge lump of cash to a group backing Harris.

However, according to a new report, he has drawn the line at publicly endorsing the vice president.

The New York Times revealed that the billionaire’s hefty donation was made to Future Forward USA Action.

The report notes that Gates’s contribution was not intended to be made public.

The outlet asked Gates for a response but he refused to specifically address the donation.

Gates, 68, has privately expressed unease about President Donald Trump defeating Harris in November, according to the Times.

The newspaper revealed that Gates has warned that he’s “concerned” about Trump and his likely re-election next month.

The tech titan and his nonprofit, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, fear potential cuts to abortion organizations and global “health” programs if Trump is elected to a second term.

The outlet notes that Gates isn’t particularly close with Harris.

However, Gates has praised the Harris-Biden administration’s work on “climate change.”

In a statement in response to the NYT report, Gates stressed that “this election is different.”

“I support candidates who demonstrate a clear commitment to improving health care, reducing poverty, and fighting climate change in the U.S. and around the world,” Gates told the Times.

“I have a long history of working with leaders across the political spectrum, but this election is different, with unprecedented significance for Americans and the most vulnerable people around the world,” he said.

Gates has openly discussed his massive donation with friends, according to the report.

Those friends include former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg.

Bloomberg, 82, reportedly contributed nearly $20 million to Future Forward earlier this year.

He made the donation when President Joe Biden was still in the race but those funds have now rolled over to Harris’s campaign.

Future Forward does not disclose its donors.

In an interview with FRANCE 24 in July, when Harris was undemocratically crowned as Biden’s replacement, Gates had welcomed the prospect of “somebody who’s younger, who can think about things like AI.”

Last year, Biden named Harris as his so-called “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Czar.”

However, whether Harris is someone “who can think about things like AI” is debatable.

X boss Elon Musk noted that “someone who can fix their own WiFi router” would be a better fit for AI Czar than Harris.

Gates, who has an estimated net worth of $162 billion, is among 81 billionaires bankrolling Harris’ White House run, according to Forbes.

Meanwhile, Trump has 50 billionaires supporting his White House bid.

However, Trump counts Elon Musk, the richest man in the world with a net worth of $243.5 B, as one of his key backers.
