Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin got a storybook ending to his tragic ordeal and has been cleared to return to the football field.
The news comes four months after the NFL star suffered an on-field cardiac arrest mid-game.
Hamlin narrowly avoided death and was resuscitated twice while millions of fans watched.
Hamlin captivated the nation by doing the impossible, bringing people together and closer to God.
He handled it all with grace keeping the spotlight on the charities he supports rather than hogging it all.
Bills general manager Brandon Beane made the announcement that Hamlin has now been fully cleared to play in the National Football League.
“They’re all in agreement,” Beane announced.
“It’s not 2-1 or 3-1 or anything like that.
“They’re all in lockstep with what this was and that he is cleared to resume full activities just like anyone else who was coming back from an injury or whatever.
“He’s fully cleared, he’s here and he is in a great headspace to come back and make his return.”
