Democrat Rep Arrested by Capitol Police during Pro-Abortion Protest

Democrat Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) has been arrested by U.S. Capitol Police for “crowding, obstruction, or incommoding” during a pro-abortion protest in Washington D.C.

The Capitol Police department said they arrested 181 people after giving multiple warnings to demonstrators.

Protesters were blocking the intersection of First Street and Constitution Avenue near the Capitol and Supreme Court buildings.

Chu said: “The decision to march today was easy—I came out to march for the young rape survivor, the woman who cannot afford to travel to another state to access critical care, the mother with an ectopic pregnancy whose life is in danger. I came out to march for all of us.

“It was an honor to be arrested alongside these young women who are fighting tirelessly to protect our right to abortion. It’s going to take all of us, but we will prevail!”

Capitol Police said: “We arrested 181 people for Crowding, Obstructing or Incommoding (DC Code § 22–1307) for blocking the intersection of Constitution Avenue, NE and First Street, NE.

“The intersection reopened at approximately 1:20 p.m.”

Hollywood stars have also been losing their minds over the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Jimmy Kimmel promoted false claims about the SCOTUS’s plans on social media: “Ready for birth control and same sex relationships to go away too?

“THE CRAZY PEOPLE ARE TAKING OVER BECAUSE WE DON’T ACT!”

Singer Taylor Swift also falsely alleged: “I’m absolutely terrified that this is where we are – that after so many decades of people fighting for women’s rights to their own bodies, today’s decision has stripped us of that.”

Bette Midler said: “They did it. THEY DID IT TO US!”

Hillary Clinton said: “Most Americans believe the decision to have a child is one of the most sacred decisions there is, and that such decisions should remain between patients and their doctors.

“Today’s Supreme Court opinion will live in infamy as a step backward for women’s rights and human rights.

However, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) was quick to drop the hammer on the Left’s hysteria with some cold hard facts.

Jordan offered the proper perspective on the decision, which does not make abortion illegal as celebrities and Democrats are claiming, but rather leaves it up to the states.

“Joe Biden voted to let states overturn Roe v. Wade when he was in the Senate,” Jordan said.

“Interesting!”

And Jordan is right because in 1982 Joe Biden supported a constitutional amendment that would overturn Roe v. Wade and allow states to choose their own policies on abortion.

“I don’t like the Supreme Court decision on abortion. I think it went too far,” Biden had told the Washingtonian magazine in 1974.

“I don’t think that a woman has the sole right to say what should happen to her body,” Biden said as the youngest senator in his early 30s adding he was “really quite conservative on most other issues.”

In 1982 Biden was one of only two Democrat lawmakers supporting a constitutional amendment that would allow states to overturn Roe v Wade and pass their own laws on abortion.

“I’m probably a victim, or a product, however you want to phrase it, of my background,” Biden said at the time.

Biden called his vote “the single most difficult vote I’ve cast as a U.S. senator.”
