Elon Musk Puts Soros on Notice: ‘George, Please Slide into My DMs’

Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk has put leftist billionaire George Soros on notice over the far-left activist groups the Democrat donor is funding.

Musk tweeted to Soros, telling the controversial left-wing money-man to “slide into my DMs [direct messages].”

The anti-woke tech mogul was responding after several Soros-funded liberal groups penned a letter calling for a boycott of Twitter if Musk makes changes when he takes control.

The letter was sent to large brands who advertise on Twitter, including Coca-Cola (CCEP), Disney (DIS), and Kraft (KHC).

Musk said in response to the letter: “Who funds these organizations that want to control your access to information?

“Let’s investigate. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”

A Twitter replied, saying: “Few names will sure come up, like Open Source Foundation, George Soros amongst others.”

Musk said: “I will call him and ask.”

Musk then responded to a post by Soros’ Open Society Foundations, saying: “George, please slide into my DMs!”

“Here’s hoping,” he added.

The Democratic Party operative groups signing the letter include Media Matters, Black Lives Matter Global Foundation, and Accountable Tech.

The groups sent the letter to Twitter’s largest advertisers and pressured them to boycott the platform by claiming they are associating with “hate” and “extremism” now that Musk has taken over.

“As top advertisers on Twitter (TWTR), your brand risks association with a platform amplifying hate, extremism, health misinformation, and conspiracy theorists,” the letter said.

“Your ad dollars can either fund Musk’s vanity project or hold him to account.”

Angelo Carusone, CEO of Media Matters for America, said:

“If Elon Musk comes in and gets rid of all the brand safety protections, I think Coca-Cola should be able to cancel their contract.

“It would be very revealing if Twitter refuses to or does not sign or does not give those cancellation options.”
