Geraldo Rivera is officially out as a co-host of Fox News’s “The Five” after feuding with the hit show’s star Greg Gutfeld.
Rivera announced his departure in a post on Twitter.
However, he claims that he will remain the “Correspondent at Large” for “the time being.”
Rivera added that his ousting was down to “being odd man out” on the show.
“Morning, it’s official, I’m off The Five,” Geraldo said.
“My last scheduled show appearances are Thursday and Friday, June 29th and 30th. It’s been a great run and I appreciate having had the opportunity.
“Being odd man out isn’t always easy.
“For the time being, I’m still Correspondent at Large.”

The feud between Geraldo and Gutfeld started days after Tucker Carlson was fired by Fox News, as Slay News reported.
After the news emerged, Geraldo took to Twitter to trash Carlson and push false claims about Jan. 6.
Geraldo said:
“I don’t wish ill on anybody, but there is no doubt as I said at the time-Tucker Carlson’s perverse January 6 conspiracy theory was bullsh*t.
“Having lost the election President Trump incited an insurrection that sought to undermine our Constitutional process.”
Gutfeld quickly put Geraldo in his place.
He said: “You’re a class act Geraldo.
“A real man of the people.”

Days later Geraldo said:
“My appearances today and tomorrow on The Five have been canceled.
“I’m sure there’s a good reason.
“Never fear, I’ll be back week after next.
“Stay safe and happy. Thanks.”
