Hollywood elites are throwing a major fundraiser in the hopes of saving Democrat President Joe Biden’s struggling 2024 campaign.
Several big Hollywood names have leaped into action to serve the Democrat establishment.
Among those joining the effort to help re-elect Biden are Steven Spielberg, Rob Reiner, and Shonda Rhimes.
They are reportedly among those co-hosting a glitzy Los Angeles party on December 8, Deadline first reported.
The event will be the first major Hollywood fundraiser for Biden since the end of the writers and actors strikes.
Other co-hosts will include Hollywood mega-producer Peter Chernin and former Paramount boss Jim Gianopulos.
The best tickets will be sold for a staggering $500,000 each.
Wealthy elites attending the event can also pay $25,000 to get access to a photo line.
All of the money generated will go to Biden’s 2024 campaign.
Hollywood is desperately trying to boost the president’s campaign as Biden’s approval numbers continue sinking to historically low levels.
Vice President Kamala Harris was reportedly in town for a separate fundraiser earlier this week.
Harris was joined by her husband, Doug Emhoff, for the event that raised $500,000 for the Biden Victory Fund.
It was held at the home of attorney Cliff Gilbert-Lurie and Leslie Gilbert-Lurie, according to Deadline.
Biden’s approval numbers continue to tank as more Americans become fed up with runaway inflation under the president’s disastrous so-called “Bidenomics.”
“Bidenomics” has caused the price of essentials, including food and energy, to soar to unprecedented levels.
A recent NBC News poll showed only 40 percent of voters approve of Biden.
Meanwhile, 57 percent disapprove.
The numbers mark his worse approval and disapproval figures since Biden became president.
The president is now also alienating many young Democrats for his handling of the Israel-Hamas war.
Among individuals aged 18 to 34, only 20 percent approve.
A whopping 70 percent disapprove, however.
In 2020, Hollywood celebrities and executives gave a massive financial boost to Biden’s presidential campaign,
Jeffrey Katzenberg, Meg Whitman, Steven Spielberg, and Bob Iger each donated six-figure sums.
Other celebrity donors included Rob Reiner, Alyssa Milano, Norman Lear, and Barbra Streisand.
Katzenberg is heading up Biden’s re-election effort.
The former Disney boss has pledged to deliver “all the resources” that Biden will need to win re-election in 2024.
