Radical Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has declared that she’s “glad” the Department of Justice (DOJ) has appointed a special counsel to investigate the classified documents that were found in Democrat President Joe Biden’s private possession.
Slay News reported last week that Attorney General Merrick Garland was forced to launch a probe to investigate classified documents found in Biden’s private office and home.
Garland appointed former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to oversee the investigation, the AG said Thursday.
After Garland appointed a special counsel, it emerged that a third batch of top secret files was found in Biden’s home.
On Saturday, Biden’s lawyers admitted that White House aides discovered five more classified documents in the president’s Wilmington, Delaware private home.
The first batch was found in the president’s old office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C.
A second batch of classified documents was later found in Biden’s Wilmington home, in the garage next to his Corvette.
The third batch was found in the library of the same Wilmington home.
Speaking during an interview on MSNBC’s “Symone,” Omar responded to the scandal by saying that she is “glad” Biden’s handling of classified material is being investigated.

OMAR: Well, one, I’m glad that there is a special prosecutor that’s been appointed to investigate this.
SANDERS: You are glad that there’s a special prosecutor. Tell me why.
OMAR: Because any time there is a deviance in regards to security protocols that should be taken serious, it should be investigated.
What I find interesting is that Republicans — who have defended Trump after he literally stole classified documents, refused to turn them over, lied about having them, made up some story about how he declassified them, had to have his house raided in order for those documents to be found — are now only interested in investigating Biden, who has cooperated, who his own staff and former staff have themselves turned these documents in.
So you have to understand, right?
Republicans aren’t really interested in upholding the law, in following security protocols.
What they’re interested in is playing a political game and now only wanting to investigate Biden.
