Jimmy Kimmel Tells Joe Scarborough Every ‘Reasonable Person’ Has ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

Late-night TV star Jimmy Kimmel has told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough that every “reasonable person” should be overwhelmed with hate and irrational rage because of President Donald Trump.

During a Wednesday interview with the “Morning Joe” anchor, Kimmel argued that all “reasonable” Americans have “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS).

Kimmel admitted that many people accuse him of having TDS.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is a pejorative term referring to irrational viewpoints and beliefs about the 45th president.

The late-night host said all people should have these viewpoints, however.

Kimmel argues Trump “is a dangerous person” who is “running to stay out of prison.”

“I’m an optimistic person, I am not hysterical, I laugh when people say ‘oh, you have Trump Derangement Syndrome,’”Kimmel said.

“You know what? If you’re a reasonable person, you should have Trump Derangement Syndrome,” he added.

“And by the way, I think he has derangement syndrome about us, too.

“The fact of the matter is this is a dangerous person, this is a stupid person, and that’s a bad combination.”

“And I think what we keep forgetting, I keep forgetting it and I have to keep reminding myself, Donald Trump is running for president to stay out of prison.

“And that’s a pretty powerful thing,” Kimmel said.

“He is literally running for his freedom.”

Kimmel didn’t provide any evidence for his allegations about Trump, however.

Rather than call out Kimmel’s salacious claims, Scarborough upped the ante and falsely alleged that Trump wants to arrest his political opponents.

This led Kimmel to blast Trump for calling on CBS News to have its license revoked for deceptively editing Vice President Kamala Harris’s responses during her “60 Minutes” interview with Bill Whitaker.

Kimmel then warned that he is “concerned” Trump will “come after” his opponents such as himself.

WATCH:

Kimmel and Scarborough failed to note that Trump has already served his first term in the White House and never didn’t any of the things they claim he will do in his second.

Prominent liberals in the media have repeatedly warned without evidence that Trump is a “threat to democracy.”

Democrats and their corporate media allies are continuing to push the false claims that Trump said he would become a dictator if re-elected.

Last November, former Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO), who is now an MSNBC contributor, suggested without evidence that Trump is “even more dangerous” than Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

Political commentator Charlie Sykes also baselessly warned that Trump will build concentration camps in his potential second term.

Many Trump critics, including disgraced former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and HBO comedian Bill Maher, have warned that Trump will never leave office and become a dictator if he is re-elected.

These lies always conveniently rest on omitting the fact that Trump has already served a full term as president and left office and the end of it.

In September, Trump also suggested that he would not run again if he loses in the 2024 election.

However, he noted that he has no plans to lose on November 5.
