Kari Lake Warns Democrats Won’t Stop Her Being Next Arizona Governor: ‘I Am 100% Going to Win’

Gop rock star Kari Lake has warned Democrats and their allies in the media that she will win her race to be the next Arizona governor.

The Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate is still waiting for her election to be called amid major delays in the ballot count.

Lake’s Democrat opponent in the race is Secretary of State Katie Hobbs –  the person in charge of Arizona’s elections.

Nevertheless, Lake remains confident that the election will turn out in her favor as ballots continue to be counted across the state, days after Election Day.

“I am 100% going to win,” Lake told Fox News.

“I have absolute 100% confidence that I will be the next governor of Arizona.”

She also gave a preview into what she saw as the future of the Republican Party following the House and Senate election results.

“I think the Republican Party should continue along with America first policies like we are with solutions, common sense solutions,” Lake said.

She then listed prominent Republicans she felt might lead the party into the future, including South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Lake made clear that President Donald Trump is her first choice to run for the presidency in 2024, noting that he is “still the leader” of the party.

“I personally hope that he runs again,” she said.

“I think he will run. And if he does, I think he will win.

“We need a President Trump to go in there and fix all the damage that Joe Biden has inflicted on this country.

“And I’m rooting for President Trump.”

Lake, however, also praised DeSantis, who she described as “young,” and ripe for a future in the White House from 2028 onward.

When asked specifically about how Trump might have helped her race, Lake was certain his campaigning in Arizona was to her benefit.

“I think it helped.

“I think the slow rolling of election results and trickling out election results here in Maricopa County made it look like he didn’t have a good night,” she said, referencing herself, Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters, and other races across the state.

“He had a great night.

“He had a huge number of victories.

“And he will have a huge number of victories here in Arizona.”

Lake expressed frustration at the amount of time it was taking to count ballots and called for election reform to cut down on that time in the future.

But said she didn’t see any sign fraud had taken place.

Officials have warned it could take days for all ballots in the state to be processed and counted, meaning that a close race between Lake and Hobbs might not be called until the last batch is processed.
