Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) dropped the hammer on Nancy Pelosi after the Democrat House speaker tried to brag about her party’s accomplishments.
McCarthy fired back after Pelosi reportedly told her party members to gloat about what the Democrats have achieved since Joe Biden was sworn in as president
The GOP leader reminded Pelosi about soaring inflation and the sinking approval ratings of Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Rising prices are a tax on every American, and they show no sign of stopping,” McCarthy said.
“By the end of Biden’s first 2 years as president, families could be losing more than $6,000 in buying power to inflation.
“Democrats’ reckless government spending led to this.”
McCarthy then took aim at Nancy Pelosi:
“Yesterday, Speaker Pelosi said Democrats have done a great job. ‘We must take great pride in what we’ve done. We’ve got a lot to brag about.’
“How remarkably out of touch.”

He also ripped Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) by sending a warning to the anti-Trump Democrat:
“The Democrats have politicized our intelligence committee.
“You’ve watched it year after year since Adam Schiff has become chair.
“No, he doesn’t warn us about Ukraine or Afghanistan or what’s happening around the world.
“He tells you about politics.
“But the worst part of it is, you cannot trust what he tells you, that he lies to us.
“Just watch what has happened.
“Two years ago, Schiff stated the emails found from Hunter Biden were all a smear on Joe Biden that comes from the Kremlin.
“That’s what the head of the Intel Committee said.”

When Hunter Biden’s “Laptop from Hell” story first broke in 2020, Schiff said: “We know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin.
“That’s been clear for well over a year now that they’ve been pushing this false narrative about the vice president and his son.
“Clearly, the origins of this whole smear are from the Kremlin, and the president is only too happy to have Kremlin help and try to amplify it.”
