Rittenhouse Tells Bodega Worker Not to Give Up Hope: ‘Self Defense Isn’t a Crime, I Am Living Proof That Truth Can Prevail’

Kyle Rittenhouse has broken his silence on the case of Jose Alba, a New York City bodega worker who was charged with murder despite acting in self-defense.

Alba was charged with murder by Manhattan’s leftist District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who was installed by radical billionaire George Soros.

Bragg is pushing for second-degree murder charges against Alba despite security footage from inside the store showing he clearly acted in self-defense while being attacked by a violent thug.

Rittenhouse weighed in on the case in response to a post by Greg Price, who broke down the shocking case.

“This is Jose Alba and he’s being charged with second-degree murder by Soros-funded prosecutor Alvin Bragg for stabbing a violent ex-con to death who came into the Bodega he was working in and attacked him,” Price tweeted,

“The absolute state of New York.

“The absolute state of progressivism.”

“Self-defense isn’t a crime,” Rittenhouse replied.

“Don’t give up hope Jose, I am living proof that the truth can prevail.”

In response to the charges, “Outnumbered” co-host Kayleigh McEnany said:

“I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone.

“What kind of sick, twisted place are we sitting in here in the middle of New York City, where this man who is defending himself is put in jail?

“Simon came back reportedly about 10 minutes later with a mission to confront this individual, as you point out, shoved him against a wall.

“As you point out, grabbed him on the back of a neck.

“And all he did was defend himself.

“Alba has no criminal history.

“He’s just a good, hardworking person who immigrated to this country and has been a law-abiding citizen.

“His daughter said, ‘It was either him or the guy at the moment. He’s never hurt anybody. He’s never had an altercation where he had to defend himself. ‘

“This is the first time for him.’ So you have to make a choice between your life or going to Rikers Island, which we all know is a pretty brutal place.

“Thank goodness we live in a country that’s trial by jury,” she said.

“I hope these charges are dropped.”
