Nick Adams Responds to LeBron James: ‘Join Brittney Griner in Her Russian Jail Cell’

Conservative author Nick Adams has fired back at LeBron James over the NBA star’s recent anti-American comments about “woke” WNBA star Brittney Griner.

Griner has pleaded guilty to drugs charges in Russia and now faces ten years in a Russian prison.

As Griner desperately tries to get released and return to the United States, James commented that she should consider not returning.

“She’s been there over 110 days,” James said.

“Now, how could she feel like America has her back?

“I would be feeling like, ‘Do I even want to go back to America?’”

James received some serious backlash over the comments and tried to walk back his remarks, saying: “My comments on ‘The Shop’ regarding Brittney Griner wasn’t knocking our beautiful country.

“I was simply saying how she’s probably feeling emotionally along with so many other emotions, thoughts, etc inside that cage she’s been in for over 100+ days.

“Long story short #BringHerHome.”

NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom slammed LeBron James.

Kanter said: “You call it a step back, we call this a walk back.

“You are free to leave buddy or you can even volunteer for an exchange for her. Some people literally have NO idea what is it like to live in a dictatorship.

“Keep taking your freedom for granted.”

Nick Adams has also put James on notice, saying:

“LeBron James should join Brittney Griner in her Russian jail cell.”

As Slay News previously reported, Griner’s team released a statement last week blaming her doctor for the drug smuggling arrest.

“Among the medical documents is a doctor’s appointment for the substance that Britney Griner inadvertently left among her belongings when crossing the border,” said Maria Blagovolina a rep for Griner blaming the doctor.

“Our task today was to tell the court about her characteristics as an athlete, as a person — tell about how she played a big role in the success of the Ekaterinburg club and Russian women’s basketball as a whole,” club director Maxim Rybakov said.

“The guilty plea was her decision informed by discussion with her legal defense team in Russia,” Griner’s legal team said.

“Brittney sets an example of being brave.

“She decided to take full responsibility for her actions as she knows that she is a role model for many people.”

“Considering the nature of her case, the insignificant amount of the substance and BG’s personality and history of positive contributions to global and Russian sport, the defense hopes that the plea will be considered by the court as a mitigating factor and there will be no severe sentence,” the reps said.
