Tim Scott Fires Back at Joy Behar after She Lectures Him about Being Black: ‘My Life Disproves the Lies of the Radical Left’

Co-hosts Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sunny Hostin all attacked Scott in response to the recent launch of his 2024 presidential campaign.

Behar said: “Tim Scott’s one of these guys who, you know, he’s like Clarence Thomas, black Republican who believes in pulling yourself up by your bootstraps rather than, to me, understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities.

“And that’s why they’re Republicans.”

Scott said: “Meekness is not weakness.

“I believe in the Gospel. I believe Matthew 5:44 says ‘Love your enemies’ — but if you break in my house, I also believe in the Second Amendment.

“We have to ignore the far Left by disproving their lies by our actions.

“I say, not on my watch.

“Let’s tell the whole story of America rising.

“My life disproves the lies of the radical Left,” he said.
