Riley Gaines Responds after SFSU Releases Shocking Statement on ‘Peaceful’ Assault

American female swimming champion Riley Gaines has responded after the San Francisco State University (SFSU) issued a statement downplaying an incident that saw her ambushed and assaulted by a leftist mob.

SFSU’s Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Jamillah Moore, Ed.D. responded to the attack by claiming that the pro-transgender mob that assaulted Gaines was “peaceful.”

The attack occurred during a protest at last week’s Turning Point USA event.

Gaines, a former NCAA swimmer, has been outspoken on the issue of biological males competing in female sports events.

Her pro-women’s rights views have made her a target of the radical Left, however.

At the Turning Point USA event, trans activists surrounded and allegedly assaulted Gaines.

Gaines was forced to barricade herself in a locked room for safety.

At one point, the “peaceful protesters” demanded that Gaines pay them for safe passage out of the building.

In response to the incident, Moore sent a letter praising the “protesters” for standing strong in the face of “abhorrent” views.

She also claimed that the mob had engaged peacefully, despite video footage of the incident proving otherwise.

“I’m sorry did this just say PEACEFUL…. I was assaulted,” Gaines fired back at Moore’s statement.

“I was extorted and held for [ransom].

“The protestors demanded I pay them if I wanted to make it home safely.

“I missed my flight home because I was barricaded in a classroom…

“We must have different definitions of peaceful.”

Gaines continued by asserting that, if the protests had been peaceful, she would have been happy to engage in a discussion with protesters.

“I have no problem with ‘peaceful’ protest. I actually welcome it,” she said.

“I was grateful to see a diverse crowd in the room during my speech which I expressed multiple times.

“We had great dialogue and listened to each other.

“But that ambush was the opposite of peaceful.”

Gaines then addressed Moore directly over the statement, asking, “@DrJamillahMoore you write this???

“Do you need more video proof??? Allow me.”

Gaines shared videos of what had happened with Moore.

Moore responded blocked the outspoken swimmer on Twitter.

“The woman who released the statement following the riot where I was verbally and physically assaulted at @SFSU (to which she called peaceful) blocked me,” Gaines tweeted.

“I guess it’s easier for her to ignore me than to denounce violence against women.

“She won’t be able to ignore my lawsuit.”

Gaines announced that she plans to sue the university over the incident.

Her agent has also called for the expulsion of the students involved.

So far, no action has been taken against those responsible.
