State Department Adds Mandatory Pronouns to All Emails, Screws Up: ‘Men Are Identified as Women, Women as Men’

In the latest efforts to turn America “woke,” Democrat President Joe Biden’s State Department ordered mandatory pronouns to be used in the “from” line of all official emails.

But the administration’s “woke” initiative backfired because the incorrect pronouns were added to the email system and it is screwing up and “misgendering” people – a faux pas among the Left.

It isn’t clear why the department is using taxpayer resources in this effort, however.

Associated Press reporter Matt Lee broke the story when he grilled State Department deputy spokesman Vedant Patel about the change.

He asked why all State Department email addresses now include gendered pronouns.

Patel played dumb but Lee kept at it telling him: “This is not an optional thing.

“Within the last hour and a half, the State Department’s internal email system has added pronouns.

“Why? This is not an optional thing.”

“But the problem is that a lot of them or at least some of them so far, as I’ve been able to tell, are wrong.

“They’re giving the wrong pronouns.

“So men are being identified as women and women as men.

“It’s ridiculous!”

Patel said:

“This phenomenon has not made its way to my Outlook.

“I will look into this.

“Thanks, everybody, happy Thursday.”
