Tiger Woods’ girlfriend of about 6 years, Erica Herman, is suing the golf legend for $30 million after he dumped her and changed the locks on the house they lived in together.
Herman claims that she was convinced “to pack a suitcase for a short vacation and when she arrived at the airport, they told her she had been locked out of her residence.”
She alleges that agents of Woods’ trust removed her belongings from the residence, stole $40,000 in cash, and made “defamatory allegations about how she obtained the money.”
And because of this treatment, Herman says she is entitled to an award of $30 million in actual and consequential damages.
The Motion to Compel Arbitration states, in part, that:
“After Mr. Woods recently terminated the relationship, Ms. Herman was advised that she was no longer welcome in the Residence.
“Ms. Herman responded to the breakup by filing this lawsuit…”
Woods’ motion says:
“Among other things, the Agreement (the NDA) requires that any and all disputes…between Ms. Herman and Mr. Woods are to be resolved by confidential arbitration before the AAA.”
According to TMZ:
“In the paperwork, Herman says a private trust that Tiger runs is attempting to steamroll her into keeping quiet about their relationship by aggressively enforcing the NDA she signed.
“She argues in her legal docs the NDA should be declared unenforceable under the federal Speak Out Act, which prohibits the enforceability of an NDA agreed to before a dispute arises involving sexual assault or sexual harassment.”

According to The Daily Mail:
Woods and Herman were together for six years after being first spotted at the Presidents Cup in New Jersey in October 2017.
She had worked as general manager at the restaurant – a pop-up at the Genesis Open at The Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, California – owned by her boyfriend, and once they started dating the two became inseparable, with Erica regularly supporting him at golf tournaments.
Rumors first began swirling about them after Erica was seen wearing a ‘player spouse’ badge, usually given to wives and girlfriends.
The following month, Tiger and Erica went public about their relationship.
The couple reportedly lived together in Jupiter, Florida.
