President Donald Trump fired back at Paul Ryan after the former GOP House speaker threatened to boycott the Republican National Convention (RNC).
Ryan told a reporter he would boycott the RNC in 2024 if Trump wins the Republican Party’s nomination.
“For the Republican convention in Milwaukee, where will you be?” a reporter for ABC 12 asked Paul.
“It depends on who the nominee is,” Ryan said.
“I’ll be here if it’s somebody not named Trump.”
“You won’t show up if it’s Trump?” the reporter asked.
“No I’m not interested in participating in that, no,” Ryan said.
“Even in Wisconsin?” the reporter asked.
“Even in Wisconsin,” Ryan said.

Enter Donald Trump who responded by dropping the hammer on Ryan.
“Paul Ryan is a loser,” Trump said.
“Mitt Romney could have won without him.
“Paul Ryan is destroying Fox, and couldn’t get elected dogcatcher in the Republican Party.”
This isn’t the first time Ryan has gone after Trump.
Last week he told another reporter:
“If we nominate Trump again, we’re going to lose.
“It’s just that clear.
“We lost with him in ‘18, ’20, and ’22. We know this.
“He will cost us another election, so I’m just excited about somebody not named Trump.
“There are great people running.
“I know them all,” he said.
“They’re all pretty decent friends of mine, and so I think any one of these candidates that are thinking about getting in the race if they get in the race, would be a great candidate.
“I think we’re going to beat Joe Biden if we don’t run Donald Trump.”

I’m old enough to remember when we were forced to “hold our noses,” “suck it up,” and “throw our support behind” Mr. Establishment himself, Mitt Romney.
(Paul Ryan was ON that ticket)
We’ve had to do that for several cycles…but the Establishment can’t do it for one?🙄🤨😡 https://t.co/cIgPCdcMe7
