President Donald Trump has warned that he may deport Britain’s Prince Harry when he returns to the White House.
Trump was responding to allegations that Harry lied on his visa application when he moved to the United States.
Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is fighting to stop the release of his immigration documents.
In his memoir “Spare,” Harry admitted to taking drugs.
However, to obtain a U.S. visa, foreign nationals, including Harry, must declare that have not taken illegal drugs.
The issue has led to Harry being hauled to a Washington D.C. court over his drug use claims in his memoir.
Harry’s lawyers insist that the the admission in his book is “not proof” that he took drugs, and therefore, lied on his visa application.
However, the Heritage Foundation argues that Harry’s admission that he took cocaine, cannabis, and magic mushrooms means he should not have been allowed into the U.S.
Releasing the visa application will prove that Harry, 39, lied about his alleged narcotics use which the think tank notes is a breach of U.S. federal law.
The Heritage Foundation asserts that the drug use admission puts Harry’s immigration status in doubt.
Lawyers for Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration also insist that the drug claims in “Spare” are “not proof” that he actually took them.
Biden’s Department for Homeland Security (DHS), which oversees immigration, says making Harry’s documents public would breach his privacy.
However, in an interview with GB News’s Nigel Farage, Trump said Harry “won’t get special privileges” from his administration if it is found he lied.
Trump said: “We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs…
“And if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action.”
Trump didn’t elaborate on what “appropriate action” would be taken but suggested the British prince could be deported.
“You would have thought they would have known this a long time ago,” Trump added.

Trump previously said he “wouldn’t protect” Harry because the prince had “betrayed the Queen.”
The 45th president asserted that, if he wins the election in November, then Harry “would be on his own.”
In his book, Harry made multiple references to taking drugs.
In “Spare,” Harry wrote that cocaine “didn’t do anything for me” when he took “a line” at age 17.
The 39-year-old added: “Marijuana is different, that actually really did help me.”
After taking magic mushrooms, Harry said he started hallucinating.
He continued by recalling that he thought a bin in a bathroom was staring at him before growing a head.
