Canadians Told to Leave Car Keys Somewhere Convenient for Thieves: Criminals ‘Have Guns’

Canadian authorities are now telling residents to make sure they leave their car keys in a place that is convenient for thieves.

Citizens are told that they should leave the keys next to their front doors so the crooks can easily find them and quickly leave with their vehicles.

Police warn that, while law-abiding citizens have been disarmed by their government, criminals still “have guns.”

The news comes as crime rates continue to soar in Toronto, Canada.

Officials in the city are now coming up with creative ways to tackle soaring numbers of robberies.

A viral City News report described a nearly 25 percent rise in car thefts from 2022 to 2023.

The report explains police in one area have resorted to passing out doorstops to homeowners.

The move seeks to help prevent their doors from being kicked in by criminals.

However, another more radical tactic is raising more eyebrows.

Canadian officials hope that criminals will be less likely to enter people’s homes if they can be tempted by an offer to easily steal the homeowner’s car instead.

Toronto Police Service Constable Marco Ricciard appeared in the news segment to tell citizens they should leave their car key fobs at their front door.

He explained that the keys should be left in a convenient place for the criminals because they are “breaking into your home to steal your car.

“They don’t want anything else,” he added.

“A lot of them that they’re arresting have guns on them and they’re not toy guns, they’re loaded,” the officer warned the nation’s disarmed citizens.

People took to social media to express their disbelief at the state of the Great White North:

Meanwhile, the Canadian federal government is pushing new laws to start locking people up across the country.

However, the new laws do not target violent criminals or home invaders.

The government is pushing to criminalize Christianity and start handing out life sentences for those found guilty of committing the “crime” of so-called “hate.”

As Slay News reported, the push for life sentences is part of “liberal” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s “anti-hate” legislation.

The shocking new law, buried in bill C-6, states:

Everyone who commits an offense under this act or any other act of Parliament, if the commission of the offense is motivated by hatred based on race, national or ethnic origin, language, color, religion, sex, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation or gender identity or expression, is guilty of an indictable offense and liable to imprisonment for life.

The new law will also offer cash bribes to members of the public “anonymously” snitch on their fellow citizens for committing “hate.”

The bill states:

It [C-6 bill] allows someone to make a complaint of a discrimination anonymously … if that hateful complaint is found legit, a maximum of 20,000 [Canadian] dollars goes to that person.

However, this is just one tyrannical new measure being pushed by the government to strip the public of their freedoms.

As Slay News reported, among the draconian new laws are powers that allow authorities to begin jailing citizens who “might” commit a crime.

Trudeau’s government is pushing for the new “pre-crime” authority which officials claim will help to tackle so-called “hate crimes.”

The new powers are buried in Trudeau’s “Online Harms Bill,” which is expected to soon be signed into law, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Meanwhile, the government is also pushing new laws that seek to criminalize Christianity, as Slay News recently reported.

Trudeau’s administration is planning to make Bible reading and prayer considered “hate speech” – a “crime” punishable with prison time.

Under Trudeau, a WEF Young Global Leader, the government is introducing an amendment to the Criminal Code.

The amendment could see believers face jail time for expressing historic Christian teachings.

Traditional Christian practices such as celebrating Christmas or attending church service will be considered crimes that carry severe penalties.
