Kevin Costner’s Wife Files for Divorce after 18 Years of Marriage

Yellowstone star Kevin Costner has suffered yet another blow as his wife of 18 years has just filed for divorce.

On Monday, Christine Costner filed to pull the plug on their 18-year marriage.

Christine cited “irreconcilable differences” in her legal filing.

The move comes after Costner’s hit TV “Yellowstone” has been canceled after he disputed the work schedule with producers.

Costner’s representative issued a statement about the divorce that said: “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.”

“We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”

Costner started dating Christine Baumgartner, a model and fashion designer, in 2000.

They got married at Costner’s Aspen, Colorado ranch in 2004.

The news is another major blow for Costner, who this time last year, was on top of the world.

In recent months, however, the actor has lost his TV show and his marriage.

Coincidentally, of course, Costner’s life appears to have taken a nosedive after he endorsed former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in the November midterms.

Baumgartner is not said to be filing for spousal support, with Costner’s response filed by Laura Wasser.

‘Spousal support to be payable to petitioner pursuant to the terms of the parties’ Premarital Agreement,’ Wasser said, indicating there is a pre-nuptial agreement between Costner and Baumgartner.

Costner was previously married to Cindy Silva from 1978 to 1994 and they share three children – Annie, 39, Lily, 36, and Joe, 35.

He also shares a son Liam Costner with Bridget Rooney, who he dated after his split with Silva.
